Alexander Severin is a New York City based artist dealing with representations of the built environment through photographic means. His practice centers around issues of how we see and understand the complex landscape of designed and un-designed space, as well as the abstractions implied by the practice of architecture.
He holds degrees in Architecture and Computer Science from Columbia University, as well as an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts.
